During his optometry training, Dr. Arnold gained extensive experience in primary care, ocular pathology, binocular vision, and contact lenses. In his fourth year, he completed clinical rotations at Columbus Ophthalmology, the Columbus VA, and various optometry clinics associated with the college. These rotations provided hands-on training in a range of specialties, including ocular pathology (such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, corneal disease, and eye emergencies), post-operative care for cataract surgery, and specialized contact lens fittings, particularly scleral lenses.
After completing his optometry education, Dr. Arnold joined his family’s practice, working alongside his father, Dr. Tony Arnold. He focuses primarily on primary care with a special interest in eye emergencies, scleral contact lens fittings, and dry eye management.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Arnold enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Beth, and their two children, Theo and Addilynn. He enjoys being involved in his church, traveling, bowhunting, playing sports, and, of course, cheering for The Ohio State Buckeyes football team.
